How do we stay open, grounded and capable of meaningful action when the world feels increasingly difficult to hold?
How do we keep caring — without becoming overwhelmed, numb or exhausted?
And how might we support one another in finding courage, clarity and even joy in the middle of uncertainty?
Active Hope & Inner Resilience is a residential weekend for people who care about the world and want to explore these questions together.
For three days at Hostačov, we will slow down, spend time in nature, share meals and stories, move our bodies, experiment with practices for resilience and connection, and make space for conversations that are often difficult to have in everyday life.
There will be guided sessions, embodied practices, walks, creative exploration and participant-led Open Space — alongside plenty of room for rest, spontaneous conversations and whatever emerges between people.
This is not about finding a single answer.
It is about strengthening our capacity to stay present to what is happening, remain connected to what we love, and keep finding ways to act.
This weekend opens Autumn at Hostačov — Human Agency in Accelerating Times, a nine-week residential season running from October into December.
Across the autumn, Hostačov will bring together people working around technology, education, AI, social change, philosophy, embodiment and many other questions of how we live and act in a rapidly changing world.
Some weeks will be practical and project-oriented. Others will move further into questions of mind, meaning, relationship and how we understand ourselves.
The thread connecting them is human agency:
How do we remain capable of noticing, choosing, relating and acting when the forces shaping our lives seem to be accelerating?
Active Hope & Inner Resilience is where the season begins — with the inner and relational foundations from which action becomes possible.
